Windows Introduction to Microsoft Word (7 hours)

Class participants will create, revise, print and save documents. They will learn how to select text, move, copy and paste text, insert new text, check for spelling and grammatical errors, use AutoText and AutoCorrect, use the Thesaurus, format documents, work with tables, insert graphics, use mail merge.
Introduction to Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP or work experience is a prerequisite.

Windows Intermediate Microsoft Word (7 hours)

This class covers advanced formatting techniques, find and replacing text and formatting, setting tabs, creating bulleted and numbered lists, working with styles, advanced table features, working with long documents, automating work with macros, working with templates, working with templates, working with columns, customizing the Word environment.
Introduction to Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP or work experience is a prerequisite.

Windows Advanced Microsoft Word (7 hours)

This class includes highlighting key points in a document, inserting comments, reviewing and editing comments, comparing documents, protecting documents, using Word's drawing tools, working with graphics, creating basic forms, using Word with other programs, advanced merge techniques, creating interactive documents, creating web pages.
Introduction to Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP or work experience is a prerequisite.

Windows Word for Typing Letters & Memos (3 hours)

This class is designed for people who will use Word to type basic letters and memos. Class participants will create, revise, spell check, print and save letters and memos as well as change print style and size and add bold, italics and underline to text.
Introduction to Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP or work experience is a prerequisite.

Windows Word for Managers (3 hours)

This class is designed for Managers. Class participants will create, revise, spell check, print and save documents as well as number pages, change print style and size, and add bold, italics and underline to text.
Introduction to Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP or work experience is a prerequisite.

Windows Use Word to Merge (2-3 hours)

This class will cover Word's mail merge features. Names and addresses will be merged into letters, memos, envelopes and labels. Merge data will be selected and sorted using Query options.
Introduction to Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP or work experience is a prerequisite.

Windows Creating Tables with Word (2-3 hours)

This class covers Word's table features. Tables will be created and formatted using shading and borders, changing column width, joining cells, splitting tables, applying headings and performing math. Data will be sorted and rows will be numbered.
Introduction to Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP or work experience is a prerequisite.
Participants must be familiar with Word's basic features.

Windows Creating Forms with Word (2-3 hours)

Word will be used to create forms. Fill-in the blank and check box forms will be created as templates. These forms will be enhanced with Fill-in dialog boxes and form fields.
Introduction to Windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP or work experience is a prerequisite.
Participants must be familiar with Word's basic and table features.
